This is a fundamental information course for babysitters or home childcare workers, on child safety and basic care techniques for infants and children. Specific areas covered in this program are:

- Techniques to tame your tots and how to handle the "bedtime blues"
- We shake rattles, not babies
- How to handle telephone calls and when a stranger knocks at the door
- Hand washing

- Infant feeding
- Child feeding
- Diapering procedures
- Infant and child sleep time
- Providing Emergency Care
- Basic First Aid
- Medical emergencies, sudden illness, poisoning, asthma, and diabetic emergencies
- How to perform child and infant CPR
- Obstructed airway, child and infant
- Specific injuries and care
