An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is a device that can deliver an electric shock (defibrillation) to a victim of sudden cardiac arrest that is suffering from a heart rhythm disorder called Ventricular Fibrillation (VF).
By providing immediate treatment, you can dramatically increase the victims chances of survival. With minimal training, anyone can be a lifesaver and the latest AED's are remarkably lightweight and simple to use.
AED program training begins with Adult CPR training, covering all the objectives as stated in Adult CPR Training.
